Ferryhopper is revolutionizing online ferry booking. We are collaborating with more than 53 major and smaller ferry companies to offer ferry itineraries to 250 destinations in the Mediterranean and we will keep expanding our horizons to new destinations. We always strive to cater to the needs of all travelers and to improve our services.

The Role

We are currently looking for a full-time Regional Marketing Manager to support our global expansion. More specifically, you will be responsible for the regions of Spain, Italy, and the Adriatic. You will be part of our growing Marketing team in Athens, leading International growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution for the regions you will be responsible
  • Maintain all processes and promote all marketing programs to optimize International growth
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of marketing budgets according to plans and minimize marketing costs
  • Develop marketing strategies for your regions of responsibility and collaborate with international teams, agencies, and our marketing team
  • Manage communication with internal teams and provide all marketing updates/knowledge for the regions you are responsible
  • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives according to our overall strategic marketing plan
  • Monitor, report, and evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving all objectives
  • Manage and conduct qualitative and quantitative marketing research to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications

        Job requirements

        Requirements 

        • Solid background in marketing 
        • Hands-on, attention to detail and highly-organized
        • Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish 
        • Demonstrable experience in creating a marketing campaign, marketing strategy, and marketing plan
        • Experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading marketing campaigns
        • Numerically literate, making sense of metrics, and processing figures
        • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy
        • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
        • Previous work experience in Spain and/or Italy will be considered an asset
        • Previous work experience in the tourism/travel sector will be a strong asset.
