The Role

Reporting directly to Ferryhopper's CMO, the Head of Organic Growth will drive our ambitious vision for organic growth through search engines. With a hands-on approach to team leadership and cross-departmental collaboration, the successful candidate will oversee and optimize our organic search engine strategies to ensure maximum reach and engagement for all audiences, languages, and target regions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Create, implement, and oversee organic search engine strategies across all of Ferryhopper's markets, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
  2. Team Management: Lead and support the Website Content Team, SEO Analyst, and Localization Team, ensuring cohesive efforts and correct implementation of the strategy for all teams.
  3. Cross-Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand Team, Performance Team (CRM and Paid Digital Marketing), and other relevant departments to ensure synergistic efforts and strategy alignment to optimize our overall acquisition funnel.
  4. Market Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, competitor efforts, and new opportunities within the organic search space across all active markets.
  5. Website Content Strategy: Devise innovative intent-content strategies to maximize website visibility to upper-funnel and lower-funnel queries.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze search performance metrics, driving continuous improvements and adaptability.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in search engine organic growth, with a track record of demonstrable success.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahreffs, Looker Studio, etc.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging search engine trends and best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI chatbot integrations and their implications for web content.
  • Proven experience in intent-oriented content strategy and planning for websites.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.
